Description
A fabulous rare, intricately handwoven, colourful rug made by the Zaer tribe who inhabit the region south-east of Rabat, circa 1970. Traditional Berber tribal patterns appear in regular and irregular box shapes, interspersed with a saw tooth design, also featuring a floral pattern on one edge and a saw tooth border. This rug is unusual in that it is almost square in shape. A beautiful addition to any home, traditional or modern.
Love the unique patterns on this rare colourful rug; they are distinctly tribal and interesting. So much detail fitted into a comparatively small rug."
